Ace Combat Infinity PS3 Game Ends Service on March 31

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced on Friday that its Ace Combat Infinity PlayStation 3 game will end service on March 31. Item sales will cease on January 9 and free items, product codes, and new game downloads will stop on March 1. Items will still be usable until the last day of service.

Bandai Namco released Ace Combat Infinity on May 20, 2014 as the first free-to-play Ace Combat game. It has an original solo story campaign and an online mulitiplayer battle mode, where two teams of up to four players compete to take down a common enemy.
Namco released the first Ace Combat game in 1992. The last numbered title, Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation, shipped for the Xbox 360 in 2007. The most recent game in the series, Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy Plus, shipped for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan in January 2015 and in February 2015 in North America and Europe. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is slated for 2018.
