The official website for Kina Kazuharu's Mainichi JK Kikaku (Everyday High School Girl Project) illustration project announced on Wednesday that an anime adaptation has been green-lit. The project will hold auditions for new voice actors to have roles in the project's "#0 pilot animation."
A kickoff event for the anime project will be held at the Zentame Summer Live Vol. 0 Special Part event at Hotel Grand Veil Gizan in Gifu on August 5. Kazuharu and voice actress Emi Hirayama (Robot Girls Z+'s Shō-chan, Augmented Reality Girls Trinary's Kagura Uzuki) will have a talk show at the event, and people who attend will receive an original illustrated postcard.
Kazuharu will also hold an individual illustration exhibit at the Zenkoku Entame Matsuri (Zentame) gaming and entertainment event in Gifu on August 5 and August 6. Kazuharu will sell illustrated prints and sign autographs at the event.
For his original illustration project, Kazuharu draws real female high school students that he sees on the street. He then uploads the illustrations on Twitter. The project's official website also lists a game.
Kazuharu has illustrated light novels, provided character designs for games, and contributed to various publications. He provided the character art for DMMGames and Ryukishi07's Iwaihime PC horror game that shipped in Japan in 2016. Nippon Ichi Software's PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita port of the game will ship in Japan on September 7. Kazuharu also contributed to the Eshi de Irodoru Sekai no Meiga illustration book in 2016.
