Dallas/Fort Worth, TX (November 16, 2023) — Anime Frontier Powered By Crunchyroll, the premier Japanese pop culture festival of North Texas, is set to unveil a groundbreaking lineup of Community Focused Programming at its highly anticipated third annual event, taking place from December 8 to December 10, 2023, at the Fort Worth Convention Center. Curated by the visionaries behind the award-winning, Anime NYC, the USA's second-largest anime convention, this dynamic show is set to infuse Funkytown with a vibrant community spirit dedicated to anime, manga, and Japanese entertainment. Throughout the weekend, participants can connect with and engage with other fans through these diverse happenings, fostering a deep sense of community and belonging.
Anime Frontier, renowned for its commitment to delivering an immersive and diverse experience, introduces two major highlights this year: Wild West Idol Fest and Remix Roundup Stage.
WILD WEST ✩ IDOL FEST: Anime Frontier proudly presents its inaugural Idol Festival, WILD WEST ✩ IDOL FEST, a highly requested addition brought by popular demand! Fans asked, and Anime Frontier answered, bringing this electrifying showcase to the main stage on Friday, December 8th, 2023. Local Idol Groups, dazzlingly dressed ensembles that lip sync and dance to popular anime themes and Jpop, take center stage, creating an unforgettable experience that fans have clamored for. Attendees are encouraged to bring their penlights, lightsticks, and glowsticks to support these sensational idols in a dazzling display of talent.

*Cosplay Meetups: Destination Cosplay is a highlight of all of the cosplay related features at Anime Frontier and offers multiple gathering places for cosplayers of all levels, with meetups hosted in the 11th Street Lobby throughout the weekend. *Cosplay Photo Sets and Repair: Anime Frontier enhances the cosplay experience with six stunning photo sets by Abi Candi, designed to transport cosplayers into magical worlds. *Tabletop Gaming: A highly requested addition, Anime Frontier introduces tabletop gaming powered by local Fort Worth shop, Galactic Gamez. Located in Room 103, Galactic Gamez brings forth a vibrant array of tabletop adventures, fostering friendships, and unforgettable experiences. The room is open on Friday (1:00 PM to 10:00 PM), Saturday (10:00 AM to 10:00 PM), and Sunday (10:00 AM to 4:00 PM). Guests can sign up to play tournaments including the wildly popular new release Disney Lorcana, as well as Magic: The Gathering, and Yu-Gi-Oh! They can also make purchases from Galactic Gamez, or grab a game from the FREE board game lending library to play with their squad.
