Comedy manga 1st launched as short series last year
This year's 38th issue of Akita Shoten's Weekly Shōnen Champion announced on Thursday that Norio Sakurai's Rororro! manga will resume in the 45th issue on October 5.
The comedy manga launched as a short series on September 29 and ran for five chapters. The manga is about a girl named Chitose who has trouble making friends. She meets someone who goes by "□□◆□." In Japanese, the symbol used for a blank (□) is similar to a character for the syllable "ro" (ロ).
Sakurai began her Mitsudomoe manga in Weekly Shōnen Champion in 2006, moved it to Bessatsu Shōnen Champion in 2012, and ended the series on Saturday. The manga inspired two television anime seasons, and Crunchyroll has streamed both seasons.
