While everyone else is clamoring over the latest life-size bishojo figure, you, a true merchandise connoisseur, are holding out a cuddlier variant. Search no more, because Premium Bandai has a 1/1-scale version of Love Live! Sunshine!! idol Chika's dog Shiitake. The dog may scare the crap out of Riko, but all Shiitake wants is to come home with you.
Shiitake measures 70cm high (27.5in) and goes for less than you average pure-bred breed at 25,000 yen (US$222). Pre-orders opened on Thursday and the stuffed pups are expected to ship in May.
The same dog inspired kigurumi pajamas by MOVIC that shipped back in February.
The new Love Live! Sunshine!! season premiered on October 7. Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs in Japan, and Funimation began streaming an English dub for the series on October 23.
The first Love Live! Sunshine!! anime premiered in July 2016. Funimation, Crunchyroll, and Daisuki streamed the series outside of Japan.
