Japan Anima(tor)'s Exhibition's Teddyloid, DAOKO, Hibiki Yoshizaki Return for College CM

The minds behind Japan Anima(tor)'s Exhibition's "ME! ME! ME!" and "GIRL" shorts teamed up for a commercial to promote HAL Tokyo College of Technology & Design. Composer Teddyloid (Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, Space Patrol Luluco), rapper DAOKO, director Hibiki Yoshizaki (Yozakura Quartet ~Hana no Uta~) and character designer PALOW created the commercial.
The video streamed on YouTube ahead of its broadcast premiere. The commercial will run on Japanese television stations starting on April 7. The 15-second ad is titled "Kirai, demo, suki" (I hate it but, I like it). The character is named "Throne.No.11 HAL mia," a girl who wants to change her fate.
HAL previously tasked its students, under the supervision and sponsorship by professional mech designer Takayuki Yanase, to design and animate mechs for use in college commercials last year.
