British Animator Teases R-Type Animated Short Project

Paul Johnson, who previously created a Doctor Who fan-animated film in the style of 1980s SF and action anime is working on a new project. Johnson teased his latest work adapting the R-Type side scrolling shoot-em-up arcade game from the late 80s.
The YouTube channel Mashed commissioned the project due for completion some time in April. Johnson shared stills and video clips from the project on Twitter over the last month.
