Anime News Network's merchandise coverage sponsored by Tokyo Otaku Mode.

Halloween brings out the creepy ghouls and spooky ghosts, but if you're a show like Is the order a rabbit?? whose entire appeal is based on cute, then cute is what you get.

LAWSON convenience store chains are rolling out Halloween-themed goods starring the girls of Is the order a rabbit?? dressed as a witch, a nurse, a devil, a vampire, and...a girl holding a pumpkin? They got a little lazy with Rize.

Five LAWSON locations in the Kantō region will offer the goods starting on October 24 to November 16.

The items include:

  • Acrylic keychains (5 varieties) - 600 yen (US$5)
  • Button pins (Set of 5) - 1,500 yen (US$13)
  • Halloween candy (Coffee-flavored, of course) with coaster - 1,300 yen (US$11)
  • Clear poster - 1,000 yen (US$8)
  • Clear file set (5 total) - 1,500 yen (US$13)

LAWSON has a separate Is the order a rabbit?? campaign that launches on October 27 throughout Japan. This campaign utilizes the LAWSON point program and customers can redeem their points for character goods. Some of the listed goods also cost money. These goods include:

Mini Tapestries

Clear files (5 varieties)

Button pins

Standing Phone Straps - 810 yen (US$7)

Clear file set (3 total) 1,080 yen (US$9)

Clear file holder - 1,620 yen (US$13)

Langue de Chat cookies (comes with one of 6 drawings) 540 yen (US$4.50)

A retweet campaign will also enter participants into a lottery to win an original poster.

Each of the prizes above becomes available for a different week of November followed by a final series of five "fairy-tale style" bromide drawings that will become available on November 24 until December 24.
