I must be one of the few people on this planet that was really disappointed with this show. I would very much like an update on the original instead.

And still going on about "free information". Where did that idea come from, the show was about communication? From talking to symbolism centered aliens to your next door neighbor or local authorities to the psychotic alien trying to murder you... wait, why would the guy trying to get humans to kill each other for his own amusement have valid anything?

Anyway, the new season would seem to be about society and definitions therein, from Rui's online concept to an outsider's/alien's view. I kind of felt that Rui's "100% online on his system" desire was kind of glossed over in the first season.

I do like the fact that the show tries to be more than just "fight the aliens because that's what we do". I love the show because it succeeds.

I didn't like the show at first, but by the 4th episode I started liking it. Really good imo.

Hahaha, the voice actress of Rosalie in Cross Ange is the new character? I approve, it will be amusing.

It's almost here!!!

Have been looking forward to this, I really liked the first season and it's eccentric cast of characters. The new additions seem interesting too and even better Kana Hanazawa is voicing one of them.

Also Hajime is mentoring the new recruit? That should be fun to watch! Very Happy

Someone knows if Iwasaki Taku is composing the soundtrack again?
I hope we'll hear new epic main themes and dubstep tracks in this second season!

You hate this show and its Mary Sue ideals don't you? I do to, I have the thought of people convincing me that this show is garbage still ringing inside my head despite personally enjoying it and not out of guilt.

No it won't. Mary Sue Hajime will win them over without the need to struggle and that's poor entertainment.

Will I regret destroying my Blu-ray disc? We'll see, let's hope there's an improvement.
