Personally I never liked these books at all (rather amateur fantasy) so I wonder how an anime would be...better, worse, the same?

I like the books, they are good, for younger children's books. It's not amateur fantasy, it's "Younger Reader" fantasy. I personally can't wait for the series. I hope it's a good company doing it. At least they're going to stick to the story and not mess stuff up.

I was actually a long time fan of 'young fantasy', I just found Deltora to be rather cliche and poorly written. I dont mean to dampen the mood for any Deltora fans out there, though, I'm just curious to know if it'll turn out to be another generic adventure series. You must admit there is alot.

AWESOME! How'd you find that out? I want the series to come sooner. September is just a slight bit too long for me... I'll survive the wait!

omg. i somehow just knew it was going to be adapted into an anime.... i just knew it >___> *shivers*

the books were alright and emily rodda was OK at writing, i'd rate the book 7/10. it could have been more exciting D:

i think it'd be interesting to see what the results of this book adapting into an anime will turn out like Very Happy
(i especially wanna hear what they'll do for the opening and ending theme lol)

emily rodda should be honoured >:B
(this is the first time i've heard about a book by an australian author being adapted into anime)

and mmcrunchiem, i think Sydney2K was being sarcastic :/

I liked the Deltora Quest series and the sequel trilogy to it, but the Dragons of Deltora books were pretty lame.

It would be cool if they also used her Rowan of Rin series.
