Well I'm going to at least pick up the Limited Edition Volume 1, but that'll be about it for now, as I have to start saving up for Gundam Zeta in September... Razz.

Speaking as a Tenchi fan...

I picked up the first DVD, and I thought it was really good. It retained the same slapstick comedy that Tenchi's known for but introduced a different but equally interesting story. Now I just have to rack up enough money to buy the others (8 volumes seems like too much.)

I am buying them all as they come out. I have 4 GXP DVD's so far. I also plan on buying the Tenchi Muyo Ryo-Ohki OVA 3 DVD's when Funimation releases them.

I'll eventually own all the other Tenchi DVD's as well (I already have the 1st and 2nd OVA from Pioneer (the 13 episodes)

I caught the first DVD from a friend. It was an amusing 5 episodes, but I'm not going to purchase 8 DVDs individually. I'll just wait until Funimation boxes them all together.
